Beuatician Solliciatation Letter

...

. Or
: When men will live LOVE ...

A little envy bothering me for a while:

You talk and get out of purgatory where there are three singers who have marked me for any part of my youth (and more ...).
They are:
- Felix Leclerc
- Gilles VIGNEAULT
- Robert CHARLEBOIS

Instead of long speeches, I urge you to (re) discover their lyrics are both poetic and "Canadian" but ... Universal!

They each have lots of little masterpieces to their name!

Felix Leclerc with his "haphazard", "Bozo the Clown," "My Shoes", etc. ... Gilles
VIGNEAULT with "My Country" or "The lark angry," "Jack Monoloy" etc. ... Robert
CHARLEBOIS with "Lindberg", "I will return to Montreal," "the wings of an angel", etc. ...

The apotheosis was their concert for the "Super FrancofĂȘte" in 1974 in Quebec.
They sang together for over two and half hours and ended by the famous song "When men live love ...".

UNFORGETTABLE!

This concert became a disc (not found today):

Coverage "I saw Le Loup, Le Renard, Le Lion"

short, if you have the opportunity and time do not deprive yourself of such pleasure and try to dream with them so on melodies and lyrics worthy of Brassens or Brel!

Believe me, you will not regret the time to rediscover their works!

A small additional indication:
Having attended many of their concerts, some were identical, and the stories / dialogues with the public well represented half the time spent together (often 2h30 ...).
A true communion in all!

Good emotions.

Biffy Mountains Chords

time dilated ..

Edward Hopper

Or ... The painter of solitude!

Indeed, as the fabric chosen to illustrate this topic,
The characters he painted seem "suspended" ...

... In their thoughts, loneliness, boredom?

Rather than a long speech, I leave those

or those who discover this artist,
get lost in the world he painted ...

Hotel Room (1931)

Nighthawks (1942) A World

melancholy and silent ...

Realistic and poignant ...

A world where loneliness, alienation, isolation and lack of communication between individuals are overwhelming.

This melancholy realism may be interpreted as "sad."
It is only the image of modern man ...

I hope not to get the blues,
but could not resist the urge to share these images with you!

Moreover, for those who have had the chance to see the film "Bagdad Cafe", very inspired by the world of Hooper, he is the evidence of a "possible solution"!

Gush Of Liquid On Period

Angel or Demon (continued)?

. This
Diana Krall, who was the first of these "Angel or Demon ', here:

Helene Grimaud

What about it?

- that has emerged in the musical world like a shooting star that was installed immediately in the pantheon of great performers?

- that it is "unclassifiable" in every sense of the words, as passionate about science, the mysteries of nature, including animal behavior, as the music itself? Especially

she interprets as little is done before it!

She plays (and therefore did not see) that the works that give it an emotion as it transcends them in the same way that Glenn Gould Bach rescussité:

All concerts are unforgettable!

From 4th piano concerto L. Van Beethoven, she plays with the virtuosity of a Maurizzio Polinni and sensitivity of Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli! She spends

indifferently from Chopin to Bartok, Schumann and Rachmaninoff to Gershwin with insolent ease ...!!!

But in any case, she chose the works in their repertoire the more "sensual" and "nostalgic" (especially in Brahms, she knows perfectly)

importantly, every time, with that extra soul ...

I remember one of his interpretations of Brahms, where the last note played, most of the orchestra's eyes were wet!

I will book three images that illustrate its "plurality", its "beauty" and its depth ...

short, if you want to discover this "Angel"
disks are not lacking,
concerts either (allow six months to a year's delay!)

and in the meantime if you want to discover the best:
(What I urge you to do!)

http://helenegrimaud.free.fr/

Just a sample to make you want:

"It's the eternal question: Do artists have to suffer to be on top their art? I do not know. We can see things in two ways. But I think we should at least have
acutely aware of the possibility of suffering, and a sensitivity sufficient " porous "for the suffering of the composer, even if it is external, you reach the point of becoming yours."

Though I try, I did not find his next "Devil" ...
(except unfortunately the one she carries in her since childhood!)
