Flight Simulator Xnumer Sold

They count on us! The

I would first like to thank all those who have shown great friendship is "complainant" inactivity of this blog for a while!

Torn between work, too lazy (yes, I accept the difficulty ...), to find something slightly original, etc. ... the weeks and months have passed!

Nevertheless, I have a little more free time now and I'll make sure not to let my blog "fallow", I promise!

Until I or lays a new editorial section that will be worth it, I can not thank you enough for those who rely on us and that winter will be very difficult!

I know how many of you do not need booster shots ...
(raccoon thank you, Olivia, Sophie and especially "lamouche" for what you already do!)

But are all more than ever supportive, because what I see may happen to relatives, friends, and even to us ...

So let's selfish, thinking to help us!

But if you can not for one reason or another,

Thanks and see you soon!

No Side Effects From Levonelle

"Illustrators" American

.
American painting has always reserved a special place in the grand tradition of "Illustrators". As

you always put everything in "boxes"
they were called the "realist school".

Edward Hopper, Grant Wood, Thomas Brenton Norman Rockwell or
were the figureheads.

But succession is there, present, beautiful in its diversity and talent.

Also, I take pleasure to introduce you to (for those who do not know ...) a few small "jewels" of the American school. Whether they

James Bennett, Gary Kelley and Kadir Nelson, they are superbly ignored by European art critics!

They are mostly totally unknown in Europe, and are not listed in any catalog.

For cons, the USA, they are recognized for what they are, ie
real artists if their work does not end up (mostly) in museums!

They offer their talents to "eat" a few fleeting moments ...

... But this is not part of the purpose of art, painting and photography?

Then follow the guide ...

"Scratch" from James Bennet (1987)

"Kermit's Lounge" from James Bennet (1989)

"Orient Express" from Gary Kelley (1990)

"Jail's Blues" from Gary Kelley (1992)

"Marvin Gaye" from Kadir Nelson (1995)

... and most importantly, do not hesitate to get lost!

Can You Make A Dress Out Of Nylon

30 years already!

Today, April 11, 2007 ...
It has been 30 years since Jacques Prevert is gone!

This "touches everything" will be a landmark in almost all the arts!
(no artist "years Prévert" which has been influenced by him!)

And who remembers a poem "Song ?!
Between the "dunce", "The portrait of a bird", "Inventory", etc. ...
Everyone has dreamed a little or a lot by reading it passionately!

I did not want to miss this date,
without a glance, without a word.
But I am not poet ..
I'll just pictures ...

Jacques Prevert (by Robert Doisneau)

Jacques Prevert (by Robert Doisneau)

Sunny days will not make me forget "leaves"
and the inventory of my life There will always be room for ..
... a raccoon!

As another poet said:
"Long, long, long
After the poets have disappeared
Their songs are still running in the streets"
(Charles Trenet)

And to show how he took himself not seriously
one of his last sentence was:
"When I am gone, they have not finished messing around.
They know me better than myself"
